Irene Guzmán Alcón

I am currently a Postdoctoral Orientation Period researcher in the Department of English Studies at the University Jaume I, Castelló (Spain).

My research interests focus on third language acquisition, writing, affective factors, young language learners, CLIL, and multilingual education.

I typically adopt a cross-national perspective in my research, exploring language learning contexts in primary and secondary education across Europe and America.
